How to get the attention of this one guy?

Lately I saw this guy that used to be on my rowing team and then he quit. I lately found out that he goes to my school and I am kind of infatuated by him. I don't know how to get his attention because I only p him in the hallways. It is my last year of high school and I don't have much time left. What should I do?
