Christians, Please help explain the Trinity to me?

First of all, I am a Christian. I was raised in an evangelical Southern Baptist household, and was taught to believe in the Trinity from the time I was in the cradle. Now that I'm a little older, I am finding myself more and more confused by this doctrine. Is Jesus Christ an incarnation of God? What are the verses that support this? Is the word "Trinity" even mentioned in the Bible?
